I came up with the concept and made the initial prototype.

Fib Finder Extreme
Fib Finder Extreme

This slumber party game was designed for girls ages 8 and up, but I've found that everyone enjoys putting their friends to the test. First, pick a card and read a question, such as "Have you ever passed gas in an elevator?" If you think that your friend fibbed their answer, put it to the test. The suspect places their finger on the lie detector device and it analyzes their finger and voice print to determine the answer.

I did the electronics and behavior starting from the beginning and taking it all the way through manufacturing.

Max Trax
Max Trax

The first question and kid asks their parent after they shoot off a model rocket is, "How high did it go?" The second question is always, "Where did it go?" This ready-to-fly rocket answers the first question by putting an electronic altitude tracking capsule in the nose-cone that will tell you how high it flew.

I came up with the idea and did the electronics and behavior starting from the beginning and taking it all the way through manufacturing.

Speed Freak
Speed Freak

Following up on the success of the Max Trax rocket (see above), Speed Freak measures the maximum velocity of the model rocket during launch.

Pick-up Lines
Pick-up Lines

A party game for adults that brings out the 'daring' in everyone. Each player writes down their best pick-up lines in response to an ice-breaker question posed by the player acting as the 'bar-fly'. Hilarity ensues as all the pick-up lines are read aloud.

I co-invented the idea and helped built the prototype.

Chatitude
Chatitude

This slumber party game for girls ages 8 and up shows who knows you the best. First, you draw a card that asks a multiple-choice question and answer it by pressing the appropriate button on the electronic Chat-amatic. Now the devivce is passed around and each friend enters the answer they think you choose. Points are awarded for knowing what your friends would answer.

Disney's Test Track Attraction
Disney's Test Track Attraction

As an intern at Walt Disney Imagineering in Orlando I did a bit of work on the Test Track attraction in Epcot. On the ride, you are a crash test dummy going through all the tests that GM puts their new cars through.

I did some testing on the software inside each car and also helped confirm the power buses the run underneath the entire track.

Helicopter Toy
Helicopter Toy

Pull the string and the yellow part flies away.

This project involved several different manufacturing processes. The helicopter part was injection molded. The handle was made on a CNC. The spindle and cord stop were turned on the lathe. The rubber band was purchased.
